On April 26, the Association of Intellectual Property Right Armenian Lawyers (AIPR) organized the “IP GLOBAL FORUM 2025”, dedicated to World Intellectual Property Day.

As part of the forum, three panel discussions were held. The third panel discussion focused on counterfeit goods, with participation from Gohar Gevorgyan, shareholder and General Director of ELL Partnership.

Invited speakers addressed Armenia’s challenges in the fight against counterfeiting, current obstacles, global trends, and both existing and developing legal tools used in this area. Special attention was given to issues related to criminalization or tightening of liability in counterfeiting cases, as well as the importance of preventing evasion of responsibility. The panel concluded with a Q&A session between the speakers and the forum participants.
